Job Description
The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for preparing, placing, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces according to project specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a team player who works safely and efficiently while collaborating with the Lead Carpenter, Foreman, and other members of the construction crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare work areas and assist with concrete placement and finishing operations.
- Level, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine dimensions and finishing requirements.
- Ensure concrete work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Lead Carpenter, Foreman, and other field team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable construction safety procedures.
- Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant concrete finishing or construction experience.
- Working knowledge of concrete materials, finishing methods, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in an outdoor construction environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
