    Overview

    The Concrete Finisher / Form Setter will assist in prepping, forming, pouring and finishing concrete assuring all safety and environment rules are complied with throughout the process.

    Responsibilities

    Completing tasks assigned by Superintendent:• Build all structures in accordance with project specifications, in efficient and safe manner.• Maintaining high quality standards• Keep site orderly assuring a clear walking surface and organized tools and materials.Reporting to Construction Superintendent:• Construction Superintendent will determine start and end time of each day• Current phone number in case of bad weather• Informing of pre-planned absencesDaily tasks:• turning in daily timecards.• participate in a job hazard analysis.• Attend toolbox meetings.• Clean and return all tools and equipment to trailer.Overall project/site safety• Maintain a safe/clean work site.• Comply with all safety standards including proper PPE such as knee pads, concrete appropriate gloves/boots, safety vest, hard hat, eye protection, fall protection when needed and rebar caps. • Report immediately all injuries, occupationally related illnesses, incident and accidents.• Responsible for wearing safety equipment.

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    • The ability to read, understand and follow blueprints.
    • Knowledge of construction carpentry and/or concrete finishing, as it applies to heavy construction.
    • Knowledge of construction safety practices.
    • Ability to kneel down, regularly lift, push, carry 30lbs.

    TOOLS REQUIRED: You are responsible for providing all hand tools required to do your job.
