Concierge / Patrol Security Officer

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Location: Manhattan, NY

Position Type: Security Officer

Schedule: Open availability required. All shifts and days available, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overnight shifts.

Job Description:We are seeking professional and dependable Concierge / Patrol Security Officers to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment at a prestigious client location in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have a strong security background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with visitors, staff, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
• Monitor access control and verify authorized entry.
• Greet and assist visitors, guests, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols to ensure the safety and security of the property.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
• Monitor security systems and report suspicious activity.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
• Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Requirements:

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Prior security experience required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work all shifts with open availability, including weekends, holidays, and overnight schedules.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
