MANTECH seeks a COMSEC Manager to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

The COMSEC Manager's primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide "day-to-day" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. This is a five-day a week in the office role in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conduct secure equipment and classified keying material inventories, inspections, and other COMSEC-related support and oversight functions.
• Perform installation of secure telephone equipment (STE) and coordinate the delivery of encryption devices and keying material to select Information Technology (IT) specialists maintaining classified networks.
• Administer a Top-Secret inventory and document control program to account for COMSEC equipment and materials.
• Conduct inventories per agency policy, reporting any discrepancies directly to the government customer.
• Courier classified information and author official receipts for classified materials.
• Ensure compliance with Automated Information Systems Security requirements related to COMSEC duties, as well as proper physical security accreditation for supported facilities.
• Train personnel in COMSEC procedures and the proper use of related equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional experience (4 years).
• 6 years of related experience, including a minimum of 4 years of experience in an SCI/SAR environment.
• Must complete the COMSEC Manager's course within 6 months of starting on contract.
• Strong understanding of COMSEC accountability and procedures required for the issue, receipt, inventory, and mailing of COMSEC equipment and materials.
• Familiarity with COMSEC acquisition, maintenance, operations, and disposition, as well as relevant ICDs, JAFANs, DoD Manuals, and security policies.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience specifically within a SAR environment highly desired.
• Proven track record of managing physical security accreditation processes alongside designated Program Security Officers.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with DoD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners in a dynamic environment.

Clearance Requirements:

• Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility, access eligibility for Special Access Program Information, and willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at adjustable desks in closed-area offices, with occasional movement inside and outside the office to access files and secure containers.
• Willingness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility via air and ground transportation as needed.
• Moderate lifting required (approximately 25-40 pounds) to move, remove, and install COMSEC-related equipment.

The projected compensation range for this position is $119,900.00-$199,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
