Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Computer Technician with a client in Rochester, NY Must hold a High School Diploma to be considered. This role involves providing a mix of remote and on-site desktop support to clients. Will be responsible for troubleshooting day-to-day issues to setting up new systems, you'll be a key part of keeping organizations up and running.

Rate Range: $18/hr. to $22/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Computer Technician responsibilities include:

• Provide remote and on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Install and configure operating systems, applications, and security updates
• Support users in Microsoft 365 environments and basic Active Directory tasks
• Maintain accurate documentation of work and system configurations
• Prioritize and respond to service requests with professionalism and urgency
• Travel to client sites in the region as needed (mileage reimbursed)

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum Two years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business applications
• Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, ConnectWise, Datto)
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license (required)
• Excellent troubleshooting, time management, documentation, and communication skills
