    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    • High School diploma or GED required.
    • Associates Degree is Information Technology or related field preferred.
    • One to two years (1-2) related work experience preferred.
    • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Working knowledge of past and current versions of MS Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
    • Ability to type 20 wpm.
    • Knowledge of cellular plans, usage and vendors.
    • Basic knowledge of database maintenance.
    • Basic computer knowledge.
    • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
    • Current Driver's License and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle required for travel.
    • United States citizenship required.
    • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.

    Responsibilities

    Summary

    Acts as a liaison for information systems problem management. Screens, diagnoses and/or refers inquiries and requests related to the performance and maintenance of personal computers and related systems

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Answers inquiries and requests from both internal and external customers regarding issues with personal computers, standard operating systems, standard software packages, networking, and printers.
    • Performs first level troubleshooting to resolve basic problems. Refers more complex problems to the appropriate support personnel or vendor.
    • Maintains Company database tracking incoming help desk requests, status and resolution.
    • Assists employees with cellular equipment tracking and support. Contacts cellular vendors to evaluate plans. Recommends and executes vendor changes.
    • Creates users for internal Company database, makes modifications as needed.
    • Creates and maintains users in MS Exchange and Active Directory.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
