Role: Computer Security System Specialist (Level-I/II/III)
Location: Hybrid- 4 days onsite in Washington, DC
Employment Type: 6-12 Months Contract

 Level 3 Computer Security System Specialist

Job description:

·         Must haves-

• Able to obtain public trust
• 7+ years of SOC experience
• 3+ years working in a senior/lead capacity
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is preferred..
• Splunk Fundamentals I & II Certification and one or more advanced Certifications, including, but not limited to: CISSP, GCIH, GCIA
• Direct experience executing Incident Handling and Response activities.
• Understanding of Security tools and the Security Stack.
• Working knowledge of Splunk. Basic understanding of network protocols and packet analysis tools.
• Cyber Security background.

Level 2Computer Security System Specialist

Must haves-

• Able to obtain public trust
• 6 years of security intrusion detection examination experience.
• Experience in security intrusion detection examination involving a range of security technologies that product logging data; to include wide area networks host and Network IPS/IDS/HIPs traffic event review, server web log analysis, raw data logs; the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
• Working experience with Splunk SIEM.
• At least three (3) years’ experience working at a senior level, performing analytics examination of logs.
• Console events and creating advance queries methods in Splunk or advance Grep skills, firewall ACL review, examining Snort based IDS events, Pcaps, web server log review, in SIEM environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is perferred.
• Splunk Fundamentals I & II Certification

Level 1 Computer Security System Specialist

Must have

• 2-3+ years of SOC experience.
• Direct experience executing Incident Handling and Response activities. Understanding of Security tools an the Security Stack.
