This posting will remain open to generate a pool of qualified student applicants for available positions during the semester.

• Tutor students in computer science courses, including programming, algorithms, data structures, and related topics.
• Assist students with coding assignments, debugging, and understanding course concepts.
• Provide a positive and professional learning environment that supports student success.
• Maintain confidentiality and academic integrity while performing tutoring duties.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and AI majors.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrated knowledge of programming and computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and debugging techniques.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to students with varying levels of experience.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional, supportive, and confidential learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous tutoring, mentoring, peer coaching, or teaching assistant experience.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and software development tools.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or other version control systems.
• Ability to assist students in a variety of computer science subjects, including programming, databases, web development, and data structures.
• Previous experience working in an office or academic support environment.

Physical Demands

Sitting, standing, bending, walking and carrying items up to 20 pounds.
