Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is looking for a part-time assistant in our Computer Integrated Machining labs. Our Computer Integrated Machining Lab Assistant helps manage workshop operations by supervising students, enforcing safety rules, and assisting faculty during hands-on manufacturing classes.

This is a part-time position with no more than 30 scheduled hours a week.

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma.
  • Minimum 6-12 months experience in machine shop environment.
  • Manual/CNC milling and turning set up and operation a must.
  • Print reading and creation.
  • Computer skills a must (Microsoft ect. ect.)

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Computer CAD/CAM skills highly preferred.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Department: Machining Technology Work Hours:

20-25 per week. Time of day flexible.
