• Beds: 2 CT suites
• Average daily census: around 100

Minimum Years Experience: 2 years

• First-time traveler: Yes, as long as they have trauma experience

Patient Types:

• Typically see young adults to geriatrics
• General CT, strokes, oncology patients

Required Certifications:

• BLS, ARRT, Wisconsin License

Skills required

• Experience with the above patient types. Community hospital setting that sees everything

Support on the Unit:

• Transporter
• Lead Tech
• 3 total CT Techs per shift
• Radiologist on site reading during the day, offsite reading at night
• Manager during the day
• Rapid Response/Code Team
• RT 24/7

Charting System/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC
• Med Dispending: Pyxis
• PACS: McKesson
• Unit equipment: Cannon 80 Slice, Client 40 Slice

Floating: None

Orientation:

• NEO
• 2-3 shifts of orientation in department

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: dependent on requisition
• Approval of RTO: to go through manager
• Will they be on call: No
• Holiday Expectations: If on regular scheduled days, will work it
• Schedule: Lead Tech will make schedule
