QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a college degree in School of Business Management with emphasis in accounting, finance, and managerial coursework.
Knowledge of the State of Alabama Financial Planning, Budgeting and Reporting System for Alabama Public Schools is highly desired.
Completion of the AASBO CSFO Certification program is preferred.
Must have good analytical ability and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting and financial areas.
Should have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a supervisor or administrator over other personnel.
Must have good communication skills and have the understanding and ability to prepare reports for top-level administrators.
Must be able to get along well with others and maintain good public relations with vendors, school system personnel, and the community at large.

Salary Range: From/To Beginning pay - $84,473.00

Applicants selected for classified positions must undergo (or have undergone) an ABI/FBI criminal history background check (fingerprinting administered through sites selected and approved by the MCPSS and State of Alabama Education Department) and be declared suitable and fit to teach under state law.
