This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring compression molding presses to produce high-quality molded components in accordance with company standards, safety regulations, and production schedules.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate compression molding presses according to job specifications and work instructions
- Load raw materials (Silicone) into molds and ensure proper material placement
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and cycle times to ensure product quality
- Inspect finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and overall quality
- Trim, finish, molded products as required
- Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting
- Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in compression molding or a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and production documentation
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
