Composite Structural Engineer

Job Description:

• Design and analyze mechanical and composite product structures.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
• Perform GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFMEA, and FEA.
• Evaluate sheet metal, plastics, castings, and material selection.
• Conduct product testing, analyze failures, and validate design performance.
• Develop test procedures and recommend design improvements.
• Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Experience in product design and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM, GD&T, and FEA.
• Knowledge of metal and polymer materials and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, testing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage projects independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
