Job Title:	Composite Mechanic
Job Duration:	6+ months contract with possible extension.
Location	Wichita, KS 67210
Pay Range	$35.00 – $40.00/hour on W2

 
 
Level B
 
Employees can perform the critical functions of the composite’s mechanic including:
 
1.           Operate impregnating, perforating, cutting, roll form, press and curing machines, and testing equipment in the fabrication of composite materials and core details in accordance with established processes and procedures.
2.           Load, unload and operate ovens and autoclaves in the curing of parts and assemblies.
3.           Operate portable repair/bonding equipment to accomplish rework, repair or change incorporation on completed assemblies = moisture removal, double vacuum debulk, overlay repairs, apply precured patches, secondary bonding, edge trimming, sanding, heat blankets, scarfing, thermal cure, and ply repair of less than 400 square inches.
4.           Disassemble and prepare assemblies to accomplish rework, repair or change incorporation on completed assemblies.
5.           Other directly related duties as requested and required.
1.           Must have composite experience in aerospace
2.           3 Axis CNC machining experience
 
Computer skills
1.           Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift, over time, weekends as per business needs
2.           Must be able to stand and work for entire shift
