Overall Objective: Responsible for ensuring the company’s policies and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards and that those procedures are uniformly adapted and applied in operations. Responsible for maintaining all operational and safety equipment matrix and MSDS sheets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain accurate compliance records to include health, safety, and all OSHA and ISO procedures
- Work with VP of Operations and Plant Managers on identifying the effectiveness, lack or and/or improvements to policies and processes. This position will recommend and implement the suggested changes with the approval of management
- Conduct regular audits through Compliance and Quality Dashboard software to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations within the plants.
- Conduct training sessions for new policies or changes to existing policies to ensure that all employees are aware of the changes.
- Oversee all new hire training processes, onboarding, and equipment safety/ developmental assessments for full-time and contract employees. Ensure Training Dashboard is utilized.
- Coordinating approved safety programs with other departments within the company, such as human resources and plant management
- Work with plant manager, and quality manager to identify compliance/quality issues that require remediation
- Work with the plant manager on creating and maintaining a safe work environment by ensuring employees follow safety procedures and know about any potential hazards in their work area
- Assist with supervision for risk assessment, audit review, monitoring & managing compliance within the organization
- Conduct and oversee all plant safety meetings with the support of the plant manager, and senior management
REQUIREMENTS: - Demonstrates attention to detail and possess problem solving skills
- Able to meet all mandatory training for the posted position
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) and all reporting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Must have the ability to interface with customers
- An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills
- Able to sit, walk and move around for long hours at a time
