COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

The Compliance Specialist supports the organization's Corporate Compliance Program by assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of compliance activities designed to ensure adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and organizational policies governing OPWDD funded services. This role is responsible for conducting audits and monitoring activities, supporting investigations, tracking corrective action plans, analyzing compliance data, facilitating staff education, and promoting a culture of ethics, accountability, and regulatory compliance.

Well-established non-profit supporting adults with disabilities is seeking a Compliance Specialist. Hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Salary depends on experience. The Compliance Specialist supports the organization's Corporate Compliance Program by assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of compliance activities designed to ensure adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and organizational policies governing OPWDD funded services. This role is responsible for conducting audits and monitoring activities, supporting investigations, tracking corrective action plans, analyzing compliance data, facilitating staff education, and promoting a culture of ethics, accountability, and regulatory compliance. The Compliance Specialist works collaboratively across departments to identify areas of risk, assess compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations, and support continuous quality improvement efforts. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, as well as knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks applicable to OPWDD service providers.
