Under general supervision, the Compliance Specialist investigates reports and complaints of criminal and non-criminal allegations with respect to insurance agents licensing.
Review, classify, categorize, prioritize, and / or analyze data. Includes exercising discretion indeterminingdata classification.
Exercise judgement, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving the evaluation of information against sensory, judgmental, or subjective criteria todeterminethe course of action for penalties to include license revocation.
Request documents and collect evidence from outside agencies and other parties.
Conduct investigative interviews.
Compile detailed andaccuratereports of findings and make recommendations for criminal prosecution or administrative sanctions.
Attend and / or testifiesat court hearings as needed.
Conductresearch needed to generate reports, completeprojectsand accurately respond to questions and concerns.
Attendtraining sessions as required to gain skills and knowledge.
Maintainquality service byestablishingand enforcing organization standards.
Perform customer service functions in person, by telephone, and by mail;provides information/assistanceregardingdepartment/division services and procedures.
Provideprofessional representation for the Agency or Division during meetings, community outreach, and public contact.
Performother related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
