This job description outlines the primary responsibilities through which employees embody our CARE values and contribute to the companys mission of outstanding service.The Compliance Officer will assist the Chief Compliance Officer in maintaining quality and compliance with operations and regulatory agencies for ALL locations under Specialty Rx Inc. Tasks will include visiting pharmacy sites for mock inspection, authoring and updating internal policies and manuals, completing annual attestations for all locations, answering compliance and regulatory questions, and helping to obtain and maintain JCAHO accreditation for all sites.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Visiting pharmacy sites for mock inspections.Authoring and updating internal policies and annuals.Completing annual attestations for all locations.Answering compliance and regulatory questionsConducting investigations and plan of corrections for compliance related issuesAssisting with new pharmacy setupsAssisting with JCAHO accreditation requirements for all sitesUpdating facility manuals as needed based on regulatory changes or additionsAssisting with all and any compliance related issuesQualifications:Completed pharmacy school from an accredited institution and obtained either a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in PharmacyStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong computer skills and familiarity with Excel, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, and AI toolsFramework / ECM software knowledgeNon-Sterile and Sterile Compounding experience a plus but not requiredRegulatory experience a plus but not requiredThis document represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions.
