Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (required).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and apply Florida State Statutes to real-world scenarios.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to explain complex regulatory decisions to the public clearly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Versa and OnBase systems is highly preferred.
  • Professional Experience: Proven background in a professional environment involving public interaction and complaint analysis.
  • Language: Full professional proficiency in English.

Interview & Work Schedule

  • Interview Process: Candidates must be available for an In-Person Interview (No virtual options).
  • Work Arrangement: This is a Hybrid position based at 1400 West Commercial Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Complaint Investigation: Contact complainants directly to gather and discuss specific details regarding filed complaints.
  • Statutory Analysis: Review and interpret Florida State Statutes to determine if complaints fall within the Division’s jurisdiction.
  • Constituent Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for the public, providing high-level customer service and advising on case closures or jurisdictional boundaries.
  • Resource Referral: Provide appropriate resources, guidance, or referrals to constituents when cases do not fall under the agency's authority.
  • Documentation & Correspondence: Draft professional written correspondence for supervisor approval and meticulously document all actions within the OnBase system.
  • Case Management: Efficiently close out cases by applying correct codes, activities, and statutory references in the Versa system.
