As a compliance management lead with Progressive Next, Inc. (one of the Level20 operating entities), you'll support the compliance program for new consumer lending, credit and banking businesses being brought to market. In this role, you'll own key components of the Compliance Management System (CMS), including compliance monitoring and testing, governance reporting, regulatory change management, complaints, and customer due diligence activities. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to initiative teams, providing regulatory guidance, identifying potential risks, and helping ensure compliance requirements are incorporated into new products, processes, and business decisions.

This hybrid role is based in Cleveland, Ohio, with in-office attendance as needed at our downtown Cleveland office (800 W Saint Clair Ave, Suite 200, Cleveland, OH 44113). Free parking is available.

Must-have qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of related work experience (e.g., business, finance, compliance, law, ethics, or a related field) with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a regulated financial services environment (e.g., banking, consumer lending, fintech, or other regulated financial services supporting compliance, financial crimes, risk, audit, or operations)
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, compliance, law, ethics, or a related field and a minimum of 7 years compliance, financial crimes, risk, audit, or operations experience in a regulated financial services environment (e.g., banking, consumer lending, financial technology, or other regulated financial services)

Preferred skills

  • Consumer lending compliance experience, including personal loans, auto loans, credit cards, or other consumer credit products
  • Knowledge of Compliance Management Systems (CMS); expertise in complaints management, regulatory change management, financial crimes activities and customer due diligence
  • Experience leading compliance monitoring and testing activities; proven ability to identify compliance risks, document findings and oversee corrective actions through resolution
  • Expertise in compliance reporting, dashboards and metrics; ability to communicate findings and trends to leadership and governance committees
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills with the ability to influence and build credibility with business partners

Compensation

  • $100,000- $130,000/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
