Job Description
** Role: Compliance Engineer**
** Location: Minneapolis, MN**
Bs degree in engineering with 5 years industry experience and in approvals/compliance engineering
degree in Electrical prefered
led product approvals testing and agency submissions with certifications
Experience in design and certification of products used in hazardous locations prefered
Experience with sustaining and npd and knowledge of product development and vv testing prefered
knowledge of product testing and experience with hazardous location / performance standards (csa/ atex / iecex) prefered
Interpret applicable safety / performance standards and apply to the products
Work in product development teams to ensure that global hazardous location are proper in the design and verified and develop certification strategies
Create test plans, and oversee and interpret the test results in compliance with company and industry standards and policies
Prepare documents to demonstrate compliance
Write and execute test protocols with approval standards and procedures, record results and write test reports
Maintain certifications and support audits
