Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Compliance Data Analyst to play a key role in advancing our digital accessibility program. In this position, you will partner with technology teams, business stakeholders, content creators, vendors, and legal partners to help ensure websites, applications, forms, and public-facing documents meet accessibility standards and provide equitable access for all users.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role focused on analysis, testing, remediation coordination, training, and project support. While the IT Project Manager oversees project governance, budget, timelines, and executive communications, the ADA Compliance Analyst serves as a vital contributor responsible for translating accessibility requirements into practical business solutions and helping teams incorporate accessibility into their everyday processes.

Rate Range: $20/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, and other factors.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, and manage business, functional, and technical requirements related to digital accessibility initiatives.

  • Translate ADA obligations and accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 Level AA, into actionable business requirements, acceptance criteria, workflows, user stories, and compliance checklists.

  • Evaluate current content creation and publishing practices, identify compliance gaps, and recommend sustainable improvements.

  • Maintain traceability of requirements and validate that implemented solutions meet documented business objectives.

  • Perform or coordinate accessibility evaluations using automated testing tools, keyboard navigation reviews, screen-reader testing, color contrast analysis, and document assessments.

  • Assess websites, online forms, PDFs, Microsoft Office documents, images, and other public-facing content for accessibility barriers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, project coordination, document remediation, website administration, content management, or a related discipline.

  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing processes, tracking issues, and coordinating work across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Foundational knowledge of digital accessibility principles and the ability to learn and apply accessibility testing and remediation techniques.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, written communication, and follow-through skills.

  • Ability to explain compliance and technical requirements in a clear, practical manner.

Measures of Success

Performance in this role will be evaluated through:

  • Accuracy and completeness of accessibility inventories and requirements documentation.

  • Timely identification, tracking, remediation, and validation of accessibility issues.

  • Quality and effectiveness of procedures, training resources, checklists, and reporting materials.
