Job Description
Snelling is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our client's distribution team.
This position plays an important role in keeping daily shipping and receiving operations running smoothly. This is a good fit for someone with manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or logistics experience who is comfortable working with both computer systems and warehouse personnel.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and accurate customer service regarding shipping and order needs.
- Process shipping confirmations and send customer ASNs through BASE2.
- Receive incoming inventory into JDE.
- Print and distribute kanbans to Material Handlers.
- Schedule Tier II shipments and expedite shipments when necessary.
- Prepare and distribute packing lists and bills of lading.
- Prepare and receive direct shipment orders.
- Monitor backorders and short shipments.
- Process Toyota billing.
- Prepare daily SIA mass-production paperwork and labels.
- Scan and maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
- Print customer shipping labels.
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Review orders entered by Customer Service for accuracy.

Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 or similar software.
- Experience with JDE is required by the client's job description.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments.
