In this role, you will support Premier Health's Corporate Compliance department through auditing, monitoring, education, policy development, and issue resolution related to HIPAA/Privacy matters. Bachelor's degree required
Degree in Health Information Technology, Business, or a related field required
Years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification preferred
Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC or CHPC) credential required within three years of employment
No prior job-related work experience required
Healthcare HIPAA/Privacy experience preferred for target candidate audience
Experience with electronic medical records preferred
Experience researching federal and state rules and regulations preferred
Experience independently creating presentation materials preferred
Knowledge of audit and compliance practices
Knowledge of IT operations, HIPAA Privacy and Security, and HITECH regulations
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft tools and applications
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and governmental staff
Strong judgment, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work and think independently
