Quality Control Mortgage Underwriter

Please be aware this position will be based on work that is available. There is the potential to work 15 hours a week or more depending upon client need. Hours will vary. This position has the potential to go permanent if the candidate is the right fit.

Responsibilities:

• Complete QC audits
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Agency underwriting guidelines, DU and LP
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of Compliance requirements (Truth in Lending, RESPA, HMDA, ECOA)
• Knowledge of mortgage documentation
• Knowledge of document red flags and fraud indicators

Qualifications:

• Possess broad scope of underwriting knowledge and skills
• Minimum of 5 years of front-line underwriting experience
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
