     Pay Range: $21.30 - $27.71 per hour

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Compliance Administrator supports agency-wide compliance, quality assurance, and incident management activities to ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, local, payer, and agency requirements. This position completes audits, investigations, reporting, compliance monitoring, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives while providing technical guidance to agency staff.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

        Compliance & Quality Assurance:

    • Support agency compliance and quality assurance efforts across programs and services. 
    • Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, monitoring tools, and quality improvement processes. 
    • Conduct internal program, documentation, and billing audits/reviews. 
    • Research compliance concerns and provide guidance to staff on regulatory and policy requirements. 
    • Maintain compliance records, prepare reports, and monitor corrective action plans. 
    • Represent the department during audits, committees, and special projects
    • Assists with the implementation of various projects as assigned.

         Incident Management:

    • Coordinate and document consumer incident reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements. 
    • Conduct investigations, complete reports, and present findings to review committees. 
    • Maintain incident records and ensure timely reporting within external oversight systems. 
    • Collaborate with regulatory agencies and internal leadership on incident-related matters. 
    • Prepare incident trend analyses and reports to support quality improvement efforts. 
    • Provide technical assistance and training on incident management processes and regulations. 

          Training:

    • Deliver training on compliance, incident management, and related topics. 
    • Assist in the development of training materials and staff education initiatives. 
    • Serve as a resource to staff regarding agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 

     JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Knowledge of compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements in human services. 
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills. 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic record systems. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment. 
    • Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and agency regulations. 
    • Valid NYS Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the service area. 
    • Acceptable physical and mental health to carry out the responsibilities of the position and be able to negotiate stairs.

     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associate’s degree in related field and 2-3 years relevant experience; or
    • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
