Role Description
The Completions Manager is responsible for leading daily operational activities across aircraft completions, production support functions, planning, materials, and cross-functional execution teams to ensure aircraft are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as a key leader in achieving operational performance goals related to safety, quality, labor efficiency, schedule adherence, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This position partners closely with Engineering, Program Management, Planning, Procurement, Design, Quality, and Production leadership to ensure efficient execution of aircraft completion programs while driving operational excellence, employee development, and process discipline throughout the organization.
Essential Job Functions
· Lead daily operational activities across aircraft completion programs, ensuring alignment with production schedules, customer commitments, and company objectives.
· Drive on-time aircraft delivery through effective coordination of production, planning, materials, engineering, quality, and program management functions.
· Monitor operational performance metrics including schedule adherence, labor efficiency, productivity, quality performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
· Establish and communicate operational priorities, resource requirements, and production targets to ensure successful execution of aircraft completion milestones.
· Partner with Planning and Materials Management teams to ensure material availability, production readiness, and effective management of critical path activities.
· Collaborate with Program Management to proactively identify schedule risks, resource constraints, and operational challenges impacting aircraft delivery.
· Lead workforce planning activities, ensuring proper staffing levels, labor utilization, and resource allocation across operational departments.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing lead times, improving workflow efficiency, eliminating waste, and increasing operational effectiveness.
· Champion Lean Manufacturing principles and operational excellence initiatives throughout the organization.
· Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, quality requirements, safety standards, and customer expectations.
· Partner with department leaders to develop and implement corrective actions related to quality escapes, schedule delays, productivity challenges, and operational inefficiencies.
· Monitor departmental budgets, labor performance, and operational costs to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
· Support the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and standard work processes.
· Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly operational review meetings to communicate performance, risks, opportunities, and recovery plans.
· Develop, coach, and mentor operational leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities, accountability, and employee engagement.
· Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, quality, and customer focus throughout the organization.
· Support customer visits, aircraft reviews, and executive-level operational reporting as required.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Aviation Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
· Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, aircraft completions, MRO, or a related operational environment.
· Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing production, operations, planning, materials, or cross-functional teams.
· Experience leading complex operational programs involving multiple departments and competing priorities.
· Strong understanding of aircraft completions, aviation manufacturing, MRO operations, or highly regulated production environments preferred.
· Demonstrated experience managing operational performance, labor efficiency, schedule attainment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation, production schedules, and operational performance metrics.
· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

· Extensive knowledge of production operations, planning, scheduling, materials management, and aircraft completion processes.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, production management software, and operational reporting tools.

· Strong commitment to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Work Environment
This position is based in an aircraft hangar environment and may involve:
· Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions
· Loud noise levels

· Working in confined aircraft interior spaces
