Complete Seat Engineer

• 5 years of experience in automotive seating system and subsystem design and development.
• Thorough knowledge of engineering design and development concepts of automotive complete seating systems.
• Very good proficiency in CATIA V5/V6.
• Experience in design of seat and seat components such as foam, headrest, seat plastic, cables, lumbar, and trim cover.
• Relevant experience in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle Packaging, Concept Creation, and assembly processes of various seat parts.
• Knowledge and understanding of tooling and seat manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and maintain engineering release and change documentation.
• Ability to perform complete seat packaging studies of seating components.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements for seating systems, including FMVSS regulations.
• Maintain and develop Design Validation Plans (DVP) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Good knowledge of seating system and component manufacturing processes.
• Project launch experience is a plus.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
