Responsibilities Job Summary: As a Compensation Manager, you'll oversee Company-wide, division-specific compensation projects, and proactively collaborate with HR and the business to identify / address issues and implement compensation initiatives, while advocating on behalf of all Partners. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Operations/Advising: Safeguards data accuracy and integrity for surveys and compliance tracking (FLSA, employee classification). Drives FLSA compliance initiatives, ensuring proper employee classification, exemption status, and adherence to compensation practices. Initiates partnership with business leaders, HRMs and the compensation leadership team to recommend and implement effective solutions. Orchestrates the communication of compensation policies, changes, and updates, ensuring clarity and consistency throughout the organization. Leads and oversees compensation audits, ensuring both compliance and optimal practices. Manages the design and implementation of short-term and long-term incentive plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements. Makes needed adjustments along the way. Analytics: Uses advanced data and analytics to shape compensation strategies, market positioning, and pay structure designs. Oversees the entire reporting process, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of compensation reports, and providing valuable insights to leadership. Develops and executes compensation strategies for an entire business unit and/or department. HR system gatekeeper, approving new reports/queries, auditing proposed changes, and optimizing the system. Owns and manages the job pricing process, overseeing the entire job evaluation, and pricing system, ensuring it alignment with company objectives and market standards. Project Management: Executes compensation-related projects, managing strategies, budgets, and timelines, often including major projects like market analysis or equity adjustments. Runs the entire merit-based compensation process. Oversees the management of pay programs, including design, monitoring, and adjusting as needed. Leads Job Family Work projects. Mentoring: Mentors Analysts and Advisors, guiding them in compensation processes, best practices, and decision-making. Qualifications & Key Requirements: Work Experience: 7+ years of experience in Compensation Experience applying financial principles to developing complex costing models Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of accounting and finance principles Advanced analytical, project management, organization skills. Expert modeling skills in Excel; PC skills including MS Office, HCM. Advanced written / verbal communication and presentation skills. Negotiation and influencing skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong collaborative workstyle.
