About the Role:Careage HomeCare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to join our team in Temple, TX! Responsibilities:- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or well-being to supervisors
- Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation of daily activities
- Ensure a safe and comfortable home environment for all clients
Requirements:- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and a caring demeanor toward elderly or disabled individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
