To learn more about Replications, visit www.replications.org.Why Join Replications, Inc.? This is your chance to contribute directly to an organization committed to transforming public education and empowering communities. Position Overview The Community School Director is a key member of the School Leadership Team, serving as the primary liaison between the school and Replications, Inc. In partnership with the principal, the CSD fosters strong relationships among students, families, school staff, and community partners to ensure the successful implementation of the Community School strategy. The Community School Director reports directly to the Regional Program Manager. Working under the guidance of Replications, the CSD leads initiatives that improve student attendance, family engagement, mental health and wellness support, academic enrichment, and access to wraparound services. The CSD develops and manages strategic partnerships, coordinates enrichment opportunities, and oversees community outreach efforts that strengthen the connection between the school and the broader community. The Community School Director is responsible for developing and executing implementation action plans, identifying and addressing barriers to success, and monitoring progress toward performance goals outlined in the school's Comprehensive Education Plan.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Plan and facilitate parent engagement activities, workshops, and forums 
• Identify and secure resources that support parent education and empowerment 
• Cultivate and ensure the participation of diverse stakeholders and voices through regular, positive communication with stakeholders and community members 
• Manage CBO partnerships, including recruitment, supervision, and evaluation 
• Complete community assets inventories to identify viable partnerships 
• Serve as a point person for agencies and programs interested in partnering with the school, and assist in securing new partnerships that are aligned with school goals and needs 
• Manage and supervise CBO personnel onsite, and volunteers 
• Coordinate all school-based partnerships, programs, and services 
• Oversee program schedules, community events, and outreach initiatives 
• Manage budgets, invoicing, and reporting for school-funded activities 
• Schedule and hold weekly staff meetings and individual supervision sessions 
• Identify needs and secure professional development opportunities for on-site staff 
• Establish and facilitate working groups to address specific community school strategy components, such as communication, recruitment and branding, after-school programming, data collection and composite development 
• Implement evidence and research-based best practices that address priority and need areas identified by the school as part of its strategy 
• Problem-solve implementation obstacles, and ensure program sustainability 

Qualifications 

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.  
• Experience with school-based  programs, partnerships, and student support services.  
• Ability to work independently, manage budgets, and handle sensitive information.

Requirements 

• DOE Fingerprinted   
• Bachelor’s degree in a child-related field (e.g., Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work) and at least two years of direct experience working with school-age children; or A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or program management experience in youth development or educational settings.
