The Community Risk Reduction Education Specialist is a full-time position with benefits and a preferred hiring range of $22.35 - $24.58 per hour (equivalent to $46,488 - $51,126 annually); however, an exact salary will be dependent upon the selected candidates qualifications/experience and in compliance with City policy.
As a Community Risk Reduction Education Specialist, youll:

Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree and moderate (1-3 years) experience in emergency services, education, outreach, program development, communication, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be used to meet this requirement.
Valid drivers license.
Meet and maintain all department training and certification requirements for position including, but not limited to:
CPR/AED within 90 days of hire;
Public Educator I (or equivalent) within one year of hire;
Child Passenger Safety Technician within one year of hire;
Youth Firesetter I within one year of hire;
Basic Public Information Officer (PIO) within two years of hire; and
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) within two years of hire.
