Job Description Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Client Advocacy Services Manager, this is a professional-level social casework and benefits counseling position. The Community Resources Coordinator works to implement advocacy/service programs for the elderly as well as adults with disabilities, and their caregivers, in Harford County, including the Senior Care Program, Ombudsman Program, the Family Caregiver Support Program, and the Maryland Access Point (MAP) Program. Employee should have basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate the internet and experience using Microsoft Word. Some evening and weekend work required.

Salary Range: $47,980.00-$129,813.00
BUDGETED SALARY: $54,080.00/ANNUALLY; $26.00/HOUR

Minimum Qualification Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, sociology, psychology, nursing, counseling, or a human services-related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years of experience providing social casework, counseling, community health nursing (with a Maryland license if in nursing), or a field closely related to aging services. One year of experience may be substituted for a Master's degree.
LICENSE:
Possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license with no more than three (3) points.
