    Position Summary

    The Community Relations Specialist is responsible for growing patient volume and brand visibility across CFHCS and its affiliated practices. This role builds and maintains referral relationships with physicians and community partners, plans and executes community events and outreach activities, and supports branding and marketing initiatives across all locations. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and comfortable spending the majority of their time in the field.

    Key Responsibilities

    Referral Development

    •     Build and maintain relationships with referring providers, including primary care practices, specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations across the Central Florida market

    •     Conduct regular in-person visits to referring offices; serve as the primary point of contact for referral coordinators and office managers

    •     Identify and pursue new referral sources in existing and expansion markets

    •     Track referral activity and relationship touchpoints; report trends, wins, and issues to leadership on a regular cadence

    •     Resolve referral friction points (scheduling, communication, records flow) in coordination with clinic operations staff

    Events & Community Activities

    •     Plan, coordinate, and execute community events, including health fairs, open houses, provider meet-and-greets, educational dinners, and sponsorship activations

    •     Represent CFHCS at community, chamber, and healthcare industry events

    •     Coordinate practice participation in local organizations and community initiatives

    •     Manage event logistics, budgets, vendors, and post-event follow-up

    •     Measure and report event ROI (attendance, leads, new patients, referral activity)

    Branding & Marketing

    •     Support development and execution of marketing plans for new location launches and existing clinics

    •     Maintain brand consistency across all locations, collateral, signage, and digital channels

    •     Coordinate production of marketing materials (brochures, provider bios, referral pads, digital assets) with internal teams and outside vendors

    •     Support social media presence, website content updates, and online reputation management (reviews, directory listings)

    •     Gather patient and referrer feedback to inform marketing and service improvements

    Qualifications

    •     Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, healthcare administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    •     2–4 years of experience in healthcare marketing, physician liaison, community outreach, or a similar relationship-driven role

    •     Existing knowledge of the Central Florida healthcare market strongly preferred

    •     Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable engaging physicians, office staff, and community leaders

    •     Highly organized and self-directed; able to manage multiple locations, events, and priorities with minimal supervision

    •     Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or referral-tracking tools a plus

    •     Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; regular local travel required (mileage reimbursed)

    •     Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
