Community Outreach Specialist

The Community Outreach Specialist reports to the Senior marketer, and leadership team. This role is ideal for a motivated marketer who enjoys connecting with people, representing a trusted local brand, and creating partnerships with businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations.

This is a marketing and relationship-focused position that plays a key role in expanding brand awareness, generating leads, and strengthening community ties.

Responsibilities

• Visit local businesses daily (apartments, storage facilities, realtors, etc.). • Drop off material, introduce yourself, and build relationships. • Track contacts, managers, and site visits. • Distribute flyers and leave-behind materials. • Attend community events and network with local businesses. • Representing the company in a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous manner always.

This role has huge impact. The relationships you build directly create new opportunities.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license. • Reliable personal transportation. • High energy and outgoing personality. • Enjoy talking to people. • Must be comfortable working independently. • Must be OK being outside and driving daily. • Excellent oral and written comprehension and communication skills. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Must be proficient with the following: Excel, Word, Outlook, Google, and other web-based applications.
