We are seeking a motivated and personable Entry-Level Community Outreach Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, communicating with others, and representing organizations in a professional and positive manner.
As a Community Outreach Representative, you will help increase awareness of programs, services, and initiatives through direct community engagement and outreach activities. You will receive hands-on training and develop valuable skills in communication, customer service, marketing, and relationship building.
No previous outreach or marketing experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Represent the organization at community events and outreach activities
- Engage with community members in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide information about programs, services, and initiatives
- Answer questions and provide helpful information to members of the community
- Build positive relationships with community members and organizations
- Assist with outreach campaigns and promotional activities
- Distribute informational and promotional materials
- Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at events and community locations
- Communicate feedback and common questions from community members to the team
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet outreach goals
- Maintain accurate records and basic activity reports
- Follow company policies, procedures, and outreach guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, marketing, hospitality, or community outreach is a plus but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, approachable, and professional personality
- Comfortable speaking with new people
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
