Community Outreach Coordinator - Clinical | Community Engagement | Day | Full-Time

Overview: This position will coordinate opportunities within the community to offer cancer prevention and screening programs based on evidence based national guidelines; will educate on cancer risk factors and prevention strategies; and will monitor the effectiveness of prevention, screening and outreach activities. Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, health education, community health, health science, health administration or psychology from an accredited institution preferred.

This position will provide support to Rehab, Pharmacy, and Radiology in their community outreach initiatives. Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, health education, community health, health science, health administration or psychology from an accredited institution preferred.

 

Required Experience:

1-2 years Community Outreach or Health Education experience

 

Preferred Experience:

3 years or more experience in community outreach or health education

 

Necessary Skills:

1. Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

2. Proven track records of sales/relationship building and/or community outreach

3. Event coordination skills

4. Computer proficiency MS Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.) or ability to learn new software quickly Age of
