Community Liaison - Hospice

Job Summary

Buena Vista Hospice is seeking a driven Community Liaison to grow referral partnerships and increase awareness of our hospice services throughout the community. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals while promoting high-quality patient care and increasing hospice admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, case managers, social workers, and healthcare providers.

• Conduct regular sales calls, facility visits, and networking activities to generate hospice referrals.

• Represent Buena Vista Hospice at community events, health fairs, and professional organizations.

• Create and execute strategic marketing and business development plans to support census growth goals.

• Identify market opportunities, analyze industry trends, and monitor competitor activity.

• Collaborate with leadership to implement effective healthcare marketing strategies.

• Promote Buena Vista Hospice as a trusted provider of compassionate end-of-life care.

• Track marketing activities and measure effectiveness to ensure growth objectives are achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

• 3 years of healthcare sales, hospice marketing, home health marketing, physician liaison, or business development experience required.

• Proven ability to generate referrals and build strong community partnerships.

• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Knowledge of hospice, home health, Medicare, managed care, and healthcare referral practices preferred.
