Assigned Territory: O'Fallon/Shiloh/Fairview Heights, Lebanon/Mascoutah/Scott Air Force Base, New Athens/Marissa, St. Libory/FreeburgWhat You'll Do:Recruit and retain girl and adult volunteers through community outreach, events, and relationship buildingServe as the primary connection between Girl Scout staff, volunteers, families, schools, and community organizationsTrain, onboard, and support volunteers to ensure a welcoming and successful Girl Scout experienceBuild partnerships with schools, churches, and community groups to expand Girl Scout opportunitiesPlan and lead membership recruitment events and promote programs, camps, training, awards, and volunteer opportunitiesIdentify community needs and develop strategies to grow Girl Scout membership and engagementWhat We're Looking For:A go-getter who enjoys building relationships and connecting with people from diverse backgroundsA self-starter with strong communication, organization and problem-solving skillsA true advocate for youth leadership, volunteer engagement and community impactA team player who demonstrates professionalism, respect and a commitment to inclusionOther Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and a minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a related field with volunteer management and supportMust have a valid driver's license and positive driving recordWillingness to:Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and travel as the work requiresAccept the Girl Scout Promise and Law and become a member of Girl Scouts of the USAPerform tasks involving light physical effort (lifting/carrying 20-25 pounds)Why Join Us?
