Job Description
Position Summary:
The incumbent assists the academic program team with the development and pilot testing of nutrition education materials for youth and families. This role plans and coordinates pilot testing of educational materials with clientele, including travel as needed, and supports the dissemination of finalized materials through training and other outreach efforts. The incumbent also assists with video production involving participating clientele and coordinates the translation of materials into Spanish following final review and approval of edits and revisions. In addition, the position makes adjustments to educational materials based on feedback from clientele and partnering agencies and coordinates the collection of data from surveys and other evaluation tools. The incumbent collaborates regularly with Extension professionals to develop, monitor, and review educational materials, and assists 4-H professionals with project deliverables and timelines to ensure activities remain within the established scope of work.

Assist academic program team with development and pilot testing of nutrition education materials for youth and families. This position will support curriculum development. This position will also plan and coordinate efforts to pilot test educational materials with clientele, including travel. The position will also support the dissemination of educational materials to clientele and conduct relevant trainings, as needed.
This position is a limited term appointment that is 75% fixed.
The home department is the CA 4-H State Office. While this position normally is based in Davis, CA, this position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements for applicants living in the State of California at this time. Please note that hybrid flexible work arrangements are subject to change by the University.
Pay Scale: $53,100.00/year to $71,400.00/year

Assists academic program team with development and pilot testing of nutrition education materials for youth and families. Plans and develop new programs and curriculum and adjust existing resources in a continuing education environment.

Plan and coordinate pilot testing educational materials with clientele, including travel.

Support the dissemination of educational materials to clientele and conduct relevant training, as needed.

Support video production with participating clientele.

Coordinate material translation into Spanish upon final review of edits and revisions.
