The Community Aide II is an entry level position responsible for assisting with the assessment, education and rehabilitation of consumers participating in the program.
Our residential programs embrace a Housing First, Harm Reduction philosophy to meet our participants where they are. We are widely recognized across Allegheny County for providing the highest quality of support and service to our participants, and serve individuals diagnosed with behavioral health and substance use disorder.
Responsibilities:

Consumer Support & Engagement
Program Development & Evaluation
Documentation & Safety
Accurately document goal progress, services provided, observations, interventions, and consumer responses.
Apply and uphold safety precautions in all environments.
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior human services experience preferred.
May in the course of their duties be in rooms where medications are stored or may transport medications when they transport patients.
Transportation of medication is limited from one department to another.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Valid Pennsylvania drivers license and access to reliable transportation preferred.
CCM training is required within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter
