Communications Systems Technician

Communication Systems Technician Requirements: - 1 to 3 years of experience with radio communications, including diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing mobile equipment. This role centers on installing, programming, and maintaining two-way radio and related communication equipment for customers who depend on it every day.

Our client is looking for a Communication Systems Technician in the Charlotte, NC area to join their service team. This role centers on installing, programming, and maintaining two-way radio and related communication equipment for customers who depend on it every day. It is a good fit for someone with a radio background who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with customers, and learning new technology.

Communication Systems Technician Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and maintain two-way radio and other communication equipment

- Troubleshoot and repair systems quickly to restore service for mission-critical customers

- Upgrade and update customer systems, including firmware and software updates

- Complete assigned service tickets accurately and on time

- Work closely with the service manager, teammates, and customers

- Take part in an on-call rotation for technical support









Communication Systems Technician Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience with radio communications, including diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing mobile equipment

- Military or similar radio communications background is a plus

- Understanding of two-way radio theory, or a real willingness to learn it

- Experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, watt meters, and multimeters

- Strong communication skills with customers and third parties

- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen
