LSU Online & Continuing Education is seeking a dynamic and experienced Communications Manager, proficient in the art of writing, to oversee all aspects of internal and external communications. The Communications Manager will play a crucial role in crafting and managing written and verbal content, ensuring consistency and alignment with the organization's mission and goals. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, capable of creating and implementing communication guidelines to uphold the entity's brand and reputation.

Additional Requirements:
Operation Essential Personnel - This position may be asked to work during an official closure, but who is otherwise not required to report to the physical campus during a closure and whose absence does not present a risk to the safety, resources, and well-being of the campus per FASOP HR-01.
Additional Information: Due to the nature of the position and/or responsibilities, in times of emergencies and/or University closures, this position is considered operational essential. It may be required to assist the Office of Communications and University Relations on necessary communications matters in times of crisis, including potentially working in LSUs Emergency Operations Center during those times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or related field with 5+ years of experience
