Communication - The communications coordinator will play an integral role in content creation and audience interaction on the school of business' social media pages.
Professionalism - The communications coordinator is the first point of contact for anyone engaging with the school of business via social media. They will curate a social media presence that is informative and professional.
The Dahlkemper School of Business is seeking a communications coordinator for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position reports to and is supported by the Program Assistant for the School of Business. The communications coordinator will work approximately 15 hours per week on a hybrid schedule with both in-person and remote responsibilities. Work schedule will vary to accommodate the needs of the department and the student's schedule.
The communications coordinator's primary responsibilities are as follows:
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills. They should be a "people person" who has enthusiasm for bringing stories to life, and are eager to engage with others. Occasionally, the communications coordinator will be expected to capture media for and appear on DSB's social media, so they should be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera.
Additionally, candidates must be reliable, have strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and be a positive representative of the Dahlkemper School of Business and Gannon University.
Must be a current student at Gannon University.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience managing professional social media pages is preferred.
