Job Title: Communications Analyst
Location: Plano, TX
Compensation: $29.00/hour
Assignment Length: 12-Month Contract
Schedule: Hybrid, onsite Tuesday and Wednesday
Overview:
We are seeking a Communications Analyst to support global communications initiatives for the Toyota Mobility Foundation. This role sits in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and will support public relations, digital content, and social media operations across multiple regions. The ideal candidate brings strong writing, organization, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a global setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and publish press releases on global website, including editing, formatting, uploading content, and performing quality control
- Manage global social media coordination across regions, including:
- Developing and distributing content calendars for review and approval
- Coordinating edits, images, and video assets
- Approving posts prior to publication
- Reviewing performance reports and supporting community management
- Assisting with forward planning and content strategy
- Managing SOWs and invoice tracking
- Support global website and brand refresh initiatives, including cross-functional coordination and meeting participation
- Assist with proposals, scheduling, stakeholder communications, and feedback cycles
- Manage and respond to incoming communications via shared inbox
- Coordinate with Japan headquarters on project plans, approvals, budgets, and invoicing
- Perform administrative and ad hoc tasks as needed
Requirements (Must-Have):
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in communications, PR, digital media, or agency environment
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- High attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with social media platforms and CMS tools such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Nice to Have:
- Experience with video content creation or production
- Vlogging or personal content creation experience
- Familiarity with Google Analytics
