Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Communication Specialist for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will lead the editorial strategy and governance for Enterprise Technology communications, ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging messaging across all channels.

Rate Range: $55/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Communication Specialist Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage editorial strategy, content governance, and publishing standards across Enterprise Technology communication channels.

  • Develop, curate, and deliver high-impact communications that drive employee engagement and align with organizational objectives.

  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve channel effectiveness.

  • Establish and maintain channel governance, ensuring messaging consistency, brand compliance, and appropriate channel utilization.

  • Drive adoption and continuous improvement of AI-enabled communication tools, workflows, and best practices across the organization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize communication processes, reduce information overload, and enhance audience reach and engagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, editorial management, internal communications, or content strategy within a large organization.

  • Proven experience developing editorial standards, communication governance frameworks, and multi-channel communication strategies.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Copilot, with experience leveraging analytics to drive communication effectiveness.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
