  2. Hold a bachelor's degree or higher appropriate to the area of service

  3. Have successfully completed eighteen (18) hours of graduate course work in the assigned

teaching discipline

  1. Be registered full-time for the respective semester - nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements of the degree plan.

The graduate assistant instructor will be teaching COMM 1311 Introduction to Communication class. They will be responsible for teaching, grading and proctoring the class.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

The Graduate Assistant Instructor position is available to full-time graduate students, preferably those in good standing with the Communication Program. Graduate Assistant Instructor will work with Basic Course Director and their responsibility to do stand alone teaching the COMM 1311 Introduction to Communication. Graduate student will work 10 hours per week with flexibility to accommodate the students needs.
