Communication Assistant - Deaf Education

Primary Purpose: Perform transliteration in English based sign system, with appropriate knowledge of interpreter ethics for the deaf; assist with the implementation of the Individual Education Plans (IEP), including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs; perform routine transliteration for the hearing-impaired students.
