    Position Overview

    We are seeking a talented Commodity Software Engineer to join a highly collaborative, cross-functional product engineering team. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting high-quality software solutions throughout the complete product lifecycle.

    The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, writing clean and maintainable code, collaborating with team members through pair programming, and contributing to reliable, scalable, and high-performing applications.

    Engineers at all experience levels will have opportunities to contribute to architecture, development, automation, performance optimization, production support, and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications.

    • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through production support.

    • Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders through Agile ceremonies and pair programming.

    • Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

    • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

    • Develop reusable software components, technical documentation, and system/design diagrams.

    • Perform application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.

    • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression tests.

    • Monitor production applications and participate in incident response and production issue resolution.

    • Analyze technical issues and implement effective, sustainable solutions.

    • Collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and open-source communities when required.

    • Conduct and participate in code reviews while following engineering best practices.

    • Support and mentor junior engineers by sharing technical knowledge and development best practices.

    • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, standards, and methodologies.
