Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing.
Fully Remote
12-18 Month Contract (Possible Conversion)
Pay: $39.50/hr
[Responsibilities]
- Develop and implement negotiation strategies to secure goods, services, and supplies.
- Execute end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Establish and maintain sourcing goals and service level agreements.
- Lead contract negotiations, administration, and supplier relationship management.
- Analyze price proposals and financial data to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, and reliability.
- Conduct supplier research to maintain high standards for quality, timing, and cost.
- Guide the sourcing lifecycle from RFQ through contract execution.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance to meet delivery and quality goals.
- Drive strategic planning for assigned commodities or suppliers.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 3-5 years' experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Contract Management, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in sourcing, RFP execution, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
[Preferred Skills]
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.
- Strong analytical and negotiation aptitude.
- Project management experience.
- Background in government or aerospace sourcing.
